You Can Now Watch Warner Bros. Discovery TLC Free. Here’s How
TLC has made a significant move in the UK television landscape by becoming a free-to-air channel accessible through Freesat and Freeview. This change allows viewers to enjoy popular films, series, and reality shows without the burden of subscription fees. The channel, previously only available on platforms like Sky TV, Virgin Media TV, and Discovery+, is now positioned to reach a wider audience with its new FTA status.
For those tuning in via Freesat, TLC can be found on channel 144, with TLC+1 on channel 150. Freeview users can catch TLC on channel 12 and TLC+1 on channel 99. This expansion of TLC’s reach is part of Warner Bros. Discovery’s strategy to offer viewers a diverse range of entertainment options without the need for paid subscriptions.
While TLC has been known for its reality shows like 90 Day Fiancé and Dr Pimple Popper, the channel is now diversifying its content lineup to include beloved sitcoms and blockbuster films. Viewers can expect to see familiar favorites like Mike and Molly, The Big Bang Theory, and Young Sheldon, along with the UK premiere of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, a new sitcom centered around Sheldon’s older brother.
In addition to sitcoms, TLC will also feature hit films such as Transformers, The Truman Show, Blades of Glory, and Zoolander. Fans of reality TV need not worry, as popular shows like Dr Pimple Popper, The Bad Skin Clinic, My 600lb Life, and 90 Day Fiancé will continue to be part of the channel’s programming lineup.
One of the most exciting announcements for TLC is the revival of the popular satirical celebrity panel show, Mock the Week. Hosted by Dara Ó Briain, the new series will premiere on Sunday, February 1, 2026, featuring a roster of fan-favorite comedians like Rhys James, Sara Pascoe, and Ed Byrne. The show will bring back beloved segments like “If this is the answer, what is the question?” and “Scenes we’d like to see.”
Additionally, viewers can look forward to a new travel show on TLC called Zero Stars, where comedians Roisin Conaty and Sara Pascoe explore destinations with the worst or strangest reviews. This fresh content lineup promises to provide viewers with big laughs, real emotions, and true escapism, making TLC a must-watch channel for entertainment enthusiasts in the UK.
