Zak Bagans Removes Glass Case for Ed Gein’s Cursed Cauldron
Zak Bagans, the renowned host of “Ghost Adventures,” is taking the scare factor to the next level this Halloween season. He recently unveiled one of his most chilling possessions – Ed Gein’s actual cauldron. With Ryan Murphy’s “Monster: The Ed Gein Story” creating buzz, Zak is adding his own nightmare fuel by showcasing the cauldron that once contained human blood and entrails in Gein’s barn. For the month of October, fans have the opportunity to see it up close without the protective glass, but there’s a major catch.
The cauldron has been locked behind glass for 8 years due to its cursed nature, and Zak is warning visitors to approach it at their own risk. His team is prepared to monitor any paranormal activity that may occur. Zak emphasizes that the glass has been removed not to endanger people, but to allow guests to view it in more detail.
Local legends suggest that anyone who touched the cauldron met a grim fate, and a psychic once claimed that Gein’s spirit is still attached to it. This is particularly unsettling considering that Gein inspired iconic horror films like “Psycho” and “Texas Chainsaw Massacre.”
Zak acquired the 25-gallon cauldron at an auction in 2015 for $2,800. He even collaborated with Eli Roth on a film titled “The Devil’s Cauldron” as part of his ‘Haunted Museum’ series on HBO MAX.
In turning Halloween into a real-life horror experience, Zak has one strict rule – hands off the cauldron unless you’re willing to face the consequences. This chilling display is not for the faint of heart, making it a must-see for thrill-seekers and horror enthusiasts alike.
