Tomatoes recalled in 14 states due to salmonella risk, FDA says

The FDA disclosed that Ray & Mascari Inc. was informed by Hanshaw & Caping Farms of Immokalee, Florida, about a batch of tomatoes they had received and repackaged into 4 Count Vine Ripe Tomatoes, citing a potential presence of salmonella at their facility.

In a separate notice, Williams Farms Repack LLC announced a recall for tomatoes distributed to wholesalers in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia between April 23-28, 2025.
