Notice of Claimed Infringement
Your notice should include:

- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation that material or activity is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
Our Response
Upon receipt of a notice that substantially complies with the requirements above, Brownstone Worldwide will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified. Where practicable, we will notify the party who posted or supplied the material that it has been removed or disabled.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material you posted or supplied was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our Copyright Agent at the address above, including:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Brownstone Worldwide may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or an agent of that person
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, Brownstone Worldwide may forward it to the original complaining party and, in accordance with the DMCA, may restore the removed material within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days unless our Copyright Agent first receives notice that the complaining party has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Brownstone Worldwide maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts, publishing privileges, or contributor status of persons or entities determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.
Contributor & Community Submissions
By submitting articles, photographs, video, audio, comments, or other materials to Brownstone Worldwide, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the material or have obtained all rights and permissions necessary to submit it
- The material does not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party
- Any individuals depicted or quoted have consented to the extent required by law
Unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise, you retain ownership of your submitted material and grant Brownstone Worldwide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, adapt for format, and promote the material across Brownstone Worldwide’s platforms, publications, and channels.
Brownstone Worldwide reserves the right to edit, decline, or remove any submission at its discretion.
Licensing, Reprints & Permission Requests
To license, syndicate, reprint, or otherwise reuse content owned by Brownstone Worldwide, please direct your request to contact@brownstoneworldwide.com with a description of the content, the intended use, the distribution channel, and the duration of use.
