Chime Expands Big Apple Footprint with New Lease at 122 Fifth Ave

San Francisco-based Chime recently announced their new lease at Bromley Companies’ 122 Fifth Ave, further expanding their presence in New York City. The fintech giant will be moving to 84,000 square feet from their current location at 101 Greenwich St, in addition to their existing space in Midtown.

The lease at 122 Fifth was secured at an asking rent of $96 per square foot, with Newmark representing the landlord and Cresa representing the tenant.

The 300,000 square-foot Flatiron building, where 122 Fifth is located, is now over 90% leased after a $100 million improvement and repositioning. Microsoft is the largest tenant in the building.

Bromley CEO Nicholas Haines expressed confidence in attracting tech companies like Chime to their reinvented space at 122 Fifth, which features state-of-the-art loft office space, wellness amenities, and a water tower terrace roof.
