Here’s what today’s All-Star Race schedule at North Wilkesboro Speedway looks like

The racing action at North Wilkesboro Speedway is set to kick off on Friday, May 16, with the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series and Truck Series teams taking on the challenging 0.625-mile short track. The weekend will feature the second exhibition weekend of the season, with 20 cars already locked into Sunday’s 250-lap main event. Eighteen drivers will compete in the All-Star Open for a chance to transfer to the main event, with only two advancing.

The action-packed weekend will begin with practice sessions for the drivers, followed by qualifying for both the Open and All-Star races. The weather forecast for Friday in North Wilkesboro predicts cloudy skies with a possibility of a stray shower or thunderstorm. The high temperature is expected to reach 86 degrees, with a 30 percent chance of rain during the qualifying and Pit Crew Challenge.
