David Tennant Teases New Project at MCM Comic Con London
David Tennant, known for his role as the demon Crowley in Good Omens, recently delighted fans at MCM Comic Con London with some exciting updates on his upcoming projects. During a panel discussion with host Wee Claire, Tennant hinted at a new role that he’s currently working on.
When asked about a character he’d like to play from a piece of work he enjoyed, Tennant cryptically responded, “There’s something we’re working on right now, that hopefully will come to fruition and will answer your question. But it’s too soon to say. So hopefully I’ll have an answer to your question. I just can’t give it to you now. But in about maybe in about six months, a year’s time… if everything were to go to plan, there may be a wee announcement.”
While Tennant didn’t reveal specific details about the project, he did mention that he recently recorded a new audiobook for the How to Train Your Dragon series. Coincidentally, a live-action adaptation of the film is scheduled to be released on June 13, 2025.
Aside from his mysterious new role, Tennant can currently be seen as the host of the quiz show, Genius Game, on ITV. He is also set to star in The Hack, a dramatized version of the phone hacking scandal at News of the World, also on ITV1/ITVX.
