Venice Selection ‘Stolen’ Acquired by Prime Video

Prime Video has made a significant acquisition by securing the rights to the Indian Hindi-language crime thriller “Stolen,” which was selected for the prestigious Venice Film Festival. The film marks the directorial debut of Karan Tejpal and is produced by Gaurav Dhingra for Jungle Book Studio. With a stellar lineup of executive producers including Anurag Kashyap, Kiran Rao, Nikkhil Advani, and Vikramaditya Motwane, “Stolen” promises to be a gripping and thought-provoking cinematic experience.
The storyline of “Stolen” revolves around two brothers from urban backgrounds who witness the abduction of a baby from a destitute mother at a rural railway station in India. Driven by a sense of moral obligation, one of the brothers persuades the other to assist the mother in a dangerous quest to locate the missing child.
