Brazen armed pair robs cash, guard’s gun, from Brinks truck in broad-daylight NYC heist: cops

A daring duo armed with guns made off with a substantial amount of cash from an armored Brinks truck parked outside a Bank of America branch in Queens on Monday morning. The incident took place at the intersection of Linden Boulevard and 205th Street in Cambria Heights around 8:50 a.m., as per reports from the police.

The suspects approached the Brinks driver and guard stationed outside the bank and managed to steal money from the back of the truck. In addition to the cash, they also seized a firearm from the 62-year-old male guard on duty.

Following the robbery, the perpetrators fled the scene in a black Chevy sedan heading west on Linden Boulevard. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
