GirlsDoPorn boss, once one of FBI’s 10 most wanted, pleads guilty to sex trafficking
Michael Pratt, the mastermind behind GirlsDoPorn, has finally pleaded guilty to sex trafficking after evading authorities for three years. The Department of Justice revealed that Pratt, along with his employees, manipulated and coerced hundreds of women, mostly teenagers, into appearing in pornographic videos by falsely promising them modeling opportunities.
After starting operations in San Diego in 2012, Pratt and his team would deceive women into believing they were participating in private casting calls for modeling gigs, only to reveal later that they would be performing sex acts in adult videos. Despite assuring the women that the videos would remain private and never be released in the US, the truth was quite the opposite.
If any of the women expressed a desire to stop filming, Pratt and his associates resorted to threats of legal action, flight cancellations, or online exposure to ensure compliance. Their websites, GirlsDoPorn and GirlsDoToys, amassed millions of views and promoted videos on popular porn sites like Pornhub, generating substantial profits for Pratt.
One particularly disturbing incident involved an 18-year-old woman who was misled about the distribution of her video and later begged Pratt to remove it from the internet. Despite her pleas, the video remained online, showcasing the exploitative nature of Pratt’s operations.
Following his arrest in Spain in December 2022, Pratt was extradited to San Diego in March 2024, where he confessed to leading the sex trafficking ring from 2012 to 2019, earning over $17 million in the process. Facing potential life imprisonment, Pratt is scheduled for sentencing on September 8.
Pratt’s co-conspirators, including co-founder Matthew Isaac Wolfe and others like Ruben Andre Garcia and Theodore Gyi, have already received substantial prison sentences for their roles in the trafficking ring. Valorie Moser, the office manager, is awaiting sentencing in September 2025.
As the legal proceedings continue, the victims of GirlsDoPorn are hoping for justice and closure after enduring years of exploitation and manipulation at the hands of Michael Pratt and his associates.
