When is Samsung Unpacked 2025? The Next Galaxy Launch Event
Samsung Unpacked events are always highly anticipated, as they bring new Galaxy devices and exciting announcements. The last Unpacked event was in January for the Galaxy S25 series, and fans are eagerly awaiting the next one, expected to take place in July.
The upcoming Samsung Unpacked event is rumored to be scheduled for the 13th of July in New York City. This aligns with Samsung’s past event patterns, with July typically reserved for the launch of Galaxy Z phones and Galaxy Watch smartwatches. While Samsung has not officially confirmed the date yet, speculations are high for a July Unpacked event.
At previous Unpacked events, Samsung has unveiled flagship devices like the Galaxy S series in January, Galaxy Z phones and Galaxy Watch in July, and Galaxy Tab tablets in September. The next event is expected to showcase a variety of new gadgets, with rumors suggesting up to six new devices.
The highlight of the upcoming Unpacked event is likely to be the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung’s flagship foldable phone. This new model is expected to feature improvements in AI, cameras, and the cover screen. Additionally, two new Z Flip phones are anticipated, including the flagship Flip 7 and the more affordable Flip FE.
Samsung is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch 8 series, which will include the regular Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. These new wearables are rumored to feature a ‘squircle’ design language inspired by the original Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Another device that may make an appearance at the event is the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, which could be an upgraded version of the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Rumors suggest that this new model will feature subtle enhancements, although details are still scarce.
In addition to new hardware, Samsung may also unveil One UI 8, the next major version of its operating system, and provide updates on Project Moohan, an Android XR headset.
While there is much to look forward to at the upcoming Unpacked event, there are also devices that are unlikely to be unveiled. The Galaxy Tab S11 series and new Galaxy A phones are not expected to make an appearance. Additionally, a successor to the Galaxy Ring smart ring is not anticipated, as rumors have been scarce.
