Pinterest taking over 13th floor at 11 Madison Ave.

Pinterest Leases 83,000 Square Feet at 11 Madison Ave in Midtown

In a departure from the Midtown leasing slowdown earlier this year, Pinterest has secured 83,000 square feet on the entire 13th floor at SL Green’s 11 Madison Ave.

This move will see Pinterest vacate its current 40,000 square feet at 225 Park Ave. South, bringing 11 Madison to 92% leased. The asking rent for the new space was $90 per square foot.

San Francisco-based Pinterest is a social media platform focused on “visual discovery” for sharing ideas and products. The deal was facilitated by a JLL team representing Pinterest and Newmark representing SL Green.

Other major tenants at 11 Madison include UBS, SONY, Suntory, and IMG.
