Why Cameron Brink had no issue going ‘fully naked’ for photo shoot

Cameron Brink recently made headlines for her openness about posing fully naked for a photo shoot. In a recent episode of her “Straight 2 Cam” podcast, the L.A. Sparks forward revealed that she walked around naked on the set of her shoot with Players magazine, much to the surprise of her mother, Michelle Bain-Brink.

Brink shared that she trusts the creatives in the room during photo shoots and enjoys the artistry of posing fully naked. She mentioned that she was comfortable because there were only women and members of the LGBTQ+ community present during the shoot. Brink compared the experience to walking around in the Sparks’ locker room in front of teammates and staff.

Michelle, a former basketball player for Virginia Tech, was taken aback by her daughter’s revelation but praised the artistry of the shoot. She particularly loved the outfit and styling, which she felt made viewers do a double-take.

Brink’s teammate, Dearica Hamby, jokingly mentioned that she usually covers her chest with her hands in the locker room. Michelle expressed admiration for her daughter’s confidence in front of the camera, noting that she never reached that level of comfort as an athlete.

Apart from the Players shoot, Brink also made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut earlier this year and appeared in the magazine wearing various bikinis. She was featured on the cover of Flaunt Magazine last July and has become known for her fashion-forward tunnel styles since joining the Sparks in 2024.

Brink’s rookie season was cut short due to a torn ACL last June, but she was expected to be a contender for Rookie of the Year honors. Despite the setback, she averaged impressive stats in the 15 games she played.

In personal news, Brink announced her engagement to Ben Felter last fall after he surprised her with a proposal in Paris during fashion week.

Overall, Cameron Brink’s candidness about posing fully naked for a photo shoot showcases her confidence and appreciation for artistic expression. Her journey in the WNBA and fashion industry continues to captivate fans and followers alike.
