New Build-to-Suit Opportunities at Peña Station

Exciting news for companies looking to establish a presence near Denver International Airport – new build-to-suit sites are now available at Peña Station, a 490-acre mixed-use development. The site offers multiple parcels totaling 65 acres and can accommodate up to 3 million square feet of build-to-suit office and technology space. This announcement comes from a collaboration between national real estate development and investment firm KDC and Colorado master-land developer L.C. Fulenwider Inc.

KDC will be working closely with individual companies to create customized headquarters and regional facilities that align with their culture and operational needs. Bill Guthrey, senior vice president of land development at KDC, highlights the prime location of the 65-acre site at Yampa Street and Telluride Way, adjacent to United Airlines’ future flight-training center and office space.

In addition to office space, Peña Station offers a mix of residential, hospitality, retail, and recreational amenities. The development includes over 1,400 multifamily homes like Springs at Peña Station and various hotels and restaurants. The area also features retail and restaurant space, sidewalks, trails, and parks that connect to nearby trail systems.

Ferd Belz, III, president of L. C. Fulenwider Inc, emphasizes the unique opportunity for businesses to benefit from United Airlines’ future developments and Denver International Airport’s expansion. Fulenwider, a company with a rich history in Colorado’s real estate landscape, is also focused on other projects like Box Elder and Reunion Colorado.

KDC, headquartered in Dallas, brings a wealth of experience in corporate build-to-suit projects. With a portfolio that includes notable clients like FedEx, State Farm, and Toyota, KDC is well-equipped to deliver tailored solutions for companies looking to establish a presence at Peña Station.
