Doja Cat, Post Malone, Tate McRae, More to Perform at 2025 MTV VMAs
The 2025 MTV VMAs lineup just got even more exciting with the addition of some incredible artists. Joining the star-studded roster of performers are Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, Post Malone, Tate McRae, and Conan Gray. Hosted by LL Cool J, the event will be airing live from New York’s UBS Arena on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT, marking the first time the show will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network. Viewers can also catch the action on MTV and Paramount+ in the U.S.
These talented artists will be joining a lineup that already includes Sabrina Carpenter, Ricky Martin (who will be honored with the VMAs’ first-ever Latin Icon Award), Busta Rhymes, J Balvin with DJ Snake, Alex Warren, Sombr, and Mariah Carey, who will be receiving the prestigious Video Vanguard Award. Nominations for the “VMAs” Social Categories, Best Group, and Song of The Summer will be unveiled on Friday, Aug. 29.
Conan Gray will be making his main stage debut with his hit single “Vodka Cranberry” from his latest album, “Wishbone.” Doja Cat is set to deliver the first-ever televised performance of her new single, “Jealous Type.” Jelly Roll, nominated in four categories including Best Alternative, Best Country, and Best Hip-Hop, will be competing for his first Moon Person. Post Malone will be returning to the VMAs stage for the first time since 2018, celebrating 20 career nominations and a nod for Best Collaboration with Blake Shelton for “Pour Me A Drink.” Tate McRae will also be making her VMAs main stage debut, celebrating four first-time nominations, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Artist.
The 2025 MTV VMAs will be produced by Gunpowder & Sky, with Bruce Gillmer, Jesse Ignjatovic, and Barb Bialkowski serving as executive producers. Alicia Portugal is the co-executive producer, Jackie Barba is the executive in charge of production, Wendy Plaut is the executive in charge of celebrity talent, and Lisa Lauricella is the executive in charge of music talent.
