GirlsDoPorn sicko Michael James Pratt gets 27 years in prison

The notorious mastermind behind the heinous website GirlsDoPorn has been handed a harsh sentence of nearly 30 years in federal prison. Michael James Pratt, 42, was sentenced to 27 years by a San Diego judge, which was five years longer than what prosecutors recommended and almost three years over the federal guidelines.

This sentencing came after 38 brave women came forward to deliver emotional statements, pleading with the judge to ensure that justice was served for the trauma they endured. These women shared heartbreaking stories of how their lives were irreparably damaged by Pratt’s despicable actions.

One victim expressed, “The life I was meant to have died in that hotel room,” while others held nothing back in expressing their anger towards the sex predator who profited off their exploitation. Another woman boldly stated, “We aren’t here for forgiveness. We’re here for justice.”

Pratt, who was placed on the FBI’s most-wanted list for his crimes, pleaded guilty to charges of sex trafficking, fraud, and coercion in June. He was apprehended in Spain in 2022 after evading law enforcement since 2019. His vile scheme targeted hundreds of women, enticing them with fake modeling opportunities before coercing them into filming explicit videos under duress.

Most of the victims, aged between 18 and 21, were lured to San Diego under false pretenses, only to find themselves trapped in hotel rooms with cameras rolling. Pratt and his team resorted to threats and manipulation to ensure compliance, even going as far as blocking exits to prevent the women from leaving.

Once the videos were filmed, Pratt would deceive the women into believing that the footage would remain private, only to later distribute it on his website and other platforms without their consent. Many victims pleaded with Pratt to remove the content, but he callously refused, knowing the devastating impact it had on their lives.

During sentencing, Assistant US Attorney Sasha Foster highlighted the profound harm caused by Pratt’s actions, revealing that some victims had tragically taken their own lives or succumbed to drug overdoses as a result of the trauma inflicted upon them.

Despite offering an apology to his victims before sentencing, Pratt’s words rang hollow in the face of the immense suffering he had caused. Several accomplices who worked for Pratt have also been sentenced to prison, including cameraman Theodore Gyi and adult actor Ruben Andre Garcia.

In addition to his prison term, Pratt and his associates were ordered to pay nearly $13 million in damages as restitution for the harm they inflicted. The sentencing of Pratt and his cohorts serves as a stark reminder of the importance of holding perpetrators of exploitation and abuse accountable for their actions.
