Rosie O’Donnell’s Rant in Irish Bar About Jimmy Kimmel’s Suspension
Rosie O’Donnell was reportedly caught ranting in a bar in Northern Ireland about Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension from his late-night show on ABC, according to eyewitnesses who spoke to The Post.
The former co-host of ABC’s The View unleashed a tirade against President Trump at the Old Commercial Bar and Lounge near the Northern Irish town of Downpatrick, as multiple sources revealed.
During a 20-minute drinking session at the pub, known as “Mannie’s” to locals after its original owner, O’Donnell expressed her frustration, stating, “Now Trump gets to decide who tells late-night jokes.”
O’Donnell had posted anti-Trump messages on her Instagram, including one where she criticized the administration and corporate executives, stating, “f— this fascist administration and corrupt corporate executives. Bowing to the orange monster – America is no more.”
Landlord Barry Gilliland confirmed serving O’Donnell during a friendly exchange at the pub as she enjoyed glasses of Smithwick’s Red Ale with fellow American tourists.

Barry Gilliland did not recall O’Donnell making any Trump-bashing remarks during her visit. Representatives for O’Donnell did not respond to requests for comment.
O’Donnell, who now resides in a Dublin suburb, left the US earlier this year citing concerns about fascism taking hold in the country after Trump’s second inauguration.
Her ongoing feud with President Trump dates back to a heated exchange on The View in 2006 when she criticized him for failing to dismiss Miss USA amid controversial allegations.
Despite recent disagreements with Trump, including threats to revoke her citizenship, O’Donnell remains a US citizen by birthright under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.
