Reality TV star Kathy Hilton of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fame recently made headlines for her philanthropic efforts. Hilton graciously opened up her luxurious estate to host a dinner for 12, with the auction fetching an impressive $40,000 at Project Angel Food’s Angel Awards Gala in Los Angeles.

Project Angel Food is a commendable organization that provides meal delivery services to seriously ill residents across Los Angeles County. The event also saw two winning bids of $16,000 each for a lunch with former “RHOBH” star Lisa Rinna at the prestigious Beverly Hills Hotel.

Moreover, the auction featured a lot that included two tickets to the “Wicked: For Good” world premiere in New York City in November, along with roundtrip flights and hotel accommodations, which sold for $13,000. The evening proved to be a huge success, raising a total of $950,000 for Project Angel Food and marking the most successful Angel Awards since 2019.

The star-studded event took place on the Paramount studio lot in Hollywood and honored Project Angel Food supporter and volunteer Jennifer Tilly with the Angel Award. Cedars-Sinai was also recognized with the Leadership in Love Angel Award, presented by Variety’s Marc Malkin and accepted by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Health System CEO Peter L. Slavin, MD.

During her acceptance speech, Tilly expressed her gratitude on behalf of the Project Angel Food staff and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, highlighting the importance of emotional sustenance along with physical nourishment. Cedars-Sinai’s Slavin, in turn, acknowledged the heroic work of Project Angel Food in meeting the nutritional needs of thousands in the community.
