Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean, Bailey Zimmerman Join CBS New Year’s Eve

Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean, and Bailey Zimmerman have been announced as the headliners for CBS’ annual “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” special, which will be broadcast over a five-and-a-half-hour period straddling the final hours of 2025 and the first of 2026.

The show will air on CBS in the eastern and Pacific time zones from 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 until 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 1, with a half-hour break for local news between 10-10:30 p.m. Paramount+ Premium subscribers will also be able to stream the special live.

In addition to the headliners, gospel artist CeCe Winans will perform alongside Tennessee’s Fisk Jubilee Singers. More performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The live broadcast will be based at Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, with Robert Deaton and Mary Hilliard Harrington serving as executive producers, along with Music City Inc. and director Sandra Restrepo.

Lainey Wilson, in particular, has been making waves in both the music and television industries. She was recently named as the sole host of November’s CMA Awards program and leads the nominations with six nods, including a chance to win entertainer of the year.

Paramount+ Premium subscribers will have the option to stream the show live via their local CBS affiliate or on-demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will have access to the show on-demand the following day.

Stay tuned for more updates on additional performers for “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” as the event draws closer.
