Once the basement is unlocked, a ladder will lead you down to the basement where the Wishing Well is located. When the well turns golden, it indicates that the next Brainrot obtained from the well has a chance of receiving the income-boosting Gold Mutation.

You can drop any Brainrot into the Wishing Well, regardless of their rarity or how they were obtained. When a character is dropped into the well, the progress bar above it increases by a certain percentage. The goal is to fill the bar to 100%, at which point a random Brainrot will be given as a reward, added to your hotbar or inventory.
