White House official suggests married ex-GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger posted half-naked photos on Grindr

White House communications director Steven Cheung caused a stir on social media by sharing what he claims are half-naked photos of former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill) on the gay dating app Grindr. The salacious photos were posted with captions suggesting that Kinzinger was the person in the images, showcasing a tattoo that matched the one the former congressman has of a US Air Force pilot’s badge.

However, the authenticity of the photos is questionable as the face of the person in the images is not visible. Additionally, there is a discrepancy in the placement of the tattoo, with Kinzinger having it on his right arm while the individual in the photos appears to have it on their left arm. Despite these inconsistencies, Cheung and representatives for Kinzinger have not commented on the situation.

The allegations surfaced after Kinzinger criticized Republicans for not speaking out against President Trump’s White House ballroom project. Cheung, a long-time associate of Trump, fired back at Kinzinger’s criticism by praising the ballroom project and insulting the former congressman. This led to a back-and-forth between the two, culminating in Cheung sharing the controversial photos.

Kinzinger, a vocal critic of Trump, notably served on the House panel investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot and voted to impeach Trump over his alleged involvement in the incident. He did not seek re-election in 2022 and left Congress after serving from 2011 to 2023.

The social media feud between Cheung and Kinzinger highlights the ongoing political tensions within the Republican Party and the divisive legacy of the Trump administration. As the controversy continues to unfold, the authenticity of the photos and the motives behind their release remain subjects of speculation and debate.
