Authorities in Galveston, Texas, are on high alert after a 13-year-old girl narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt while walking to Central Middle School. The incident occurred early Monday morning when the girl heard footsteps approaching from behind. A masked man grabbed her, but she managed to fight back by biting him twice and breaking free.
