Female gym teacher allegedly sent ‘inappropriate texts and photos’ to a 13-year-old student
A 22-year-old female gym teacher from Florida, Yezmar Angeanis Ramos-Figueroa, has confessed to sending inappropriate text messages and photos to a 13-year-old student, as per the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. The incident came to light when the boy’s mother reported the matter to the authorities.
During the investigation, Ramos-Figueroa admitted to texting and sending a photo to the student, who was confirmed to be a minor attending virtual classes at Central Pointe Christian Academy, where she taught physical education.
The teacher has been charged with two felonies – distributing obscene material to a minor and transmitting harmful material to a minor. Currently, she is held at the Osceola County Jail on a bond of $10,000, according to jail records.
The Central Pointe Christian Academy, a private K-12 school in Kissimmee, has not yet responded to requests for comments on the matter.
