‘Big Brother’ 27 Star Dies After Cardiac Arrests

Mickey C. Lee, former “Big Brother” contestant, passes away at 35

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Mickey C. Lee’s passing on December 25. The Lee family took to Instagram to announce her death, just days after revealing that she had suffered from multiple cardiac arrests. Mickey was only 35 years old.

On December 23, the Lee family launched a GoFundMe campaign to help with Mickey’s medical expenses. The campaign was shared on her Instagram page, where it was mentioned that she was in critical but stable condition in the ICU after experiencing multiple cardiac arrests.

The family expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support, stating, “This sudden health crisis has left Mickey and her family facing enormous emotional and financial strain from mounting hospital bills to ongoing care and recovery costs.”

As of now, the GoFundMe campaign has reached 80% of its goal, with $31,605 raised.

On Christmas Day, the family shared another post on Mickey’s account, announcing her passing. The post read, “Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her appearance on Big Brother, where her authenticity, strength, and spirit left a lasting impression. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many. The family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, love, and support during this incredibly difficult time.”

The family requested privacy during this time and ended the statement by saying, “Mickey’s light, legacy, and impact will never be forgotten.”

Mickey’s passing comes three months after she was evicted from “Big Brother” after 59 days on the show.

Several members of the CBS family shared their condolences. Former contestant Elena Davies commented, “What an incredible loss. Mickey will never be forgotten.” Rachel Reilly added, “Sorry for your loss and my prayers for your family. Mickey will always be remembered.” Tiffany Mitchell also paid tribute, writing, “Rest peacefully babygirl. Life is short, cherish every moment.”
