A 28-year-old man was the victim of a violent stabbing near Penn Station on Friday afternoon, according to authorities. The incident took place at the intersection of West 34th Street and Seventh Avenue, just steps away from the bustling transit hub and Madison Square Garden.
The victim sustained stab wounds to both arms during the altercation, which occurred around 4:10 p.m. Eyewitnesses reported that the assailant, dressed in all black, was involved in a physical tussle with the victim before the stabbing took place.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear, as authorities are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the violent encounter. It is uncertain whether the victim and the suspect were acquainted prior to the incident.
Following the attack, the victim was promptly transported to Bellevue Hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, he is currently in stable condition and receiving the necessary care for his injuries.
