This devastating crash follows closely after another heartbreaking accident where 14 schoolchildren lost their lives in a head-on collision between a minibus taxi and a truck.
The recent collision took place in the eastern KwaZulu-Natal province, as reported by Siboniso Duma from the provincial transport department. Preliminary information suggests that 11 individuals, including a schoolchild, lost their lives at the scene.
According to Garrith Jamieson, spokesperson for ALS Paramedics, the tragic incident resulted in 11 fatalities and left several individuals critically injured, including the minibus driver who was trapped in the wreckage.
