The FBI has stated that they have no knowledge of any ongoing communication between Savannah Guthrie’s family and the individuals suspected of kidnapping her mother, Nancy Guthrie. Despite an extensive federal search effort that has been ongoing for over a week, the agency has not been informed of any ransom-related contact.

In a recent statement released by the FBI, it was revealed that agents, analysts, and crisis management experts have been working tirelessly to reunite 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie with her family. However, the investigators remain in the dark regarding any communication regarding ransom demands.

The agency also mentioned that they have not yet identified a suspect or person of interest in the case. They have set up a 24-hour command post in Tucson, bringing in additional personnel from FBI field offices across the country. The operation includes crisis negotiators, analytic teams, and investigators who are following up on any leads or tips that may help locate Nancy Guthrie.

Savannah Guthrie, along with her family, has been actively seeking the public’s help in locating her mother. In a recent Instagram post, Savannah expressed her unwavering hope that Nancy is still alive and urged the public to assist in the search efforts.

The deadline to pay the alleged $6 million bitcoin ransom expired at 5 PM Arizona time on Monday. Nancy and her siblings had agreed to pay the ransom, but there has been no movement on the bitcoin account so far.

Nancy Guthrie was abducted early on the morning of February 1. She had gone out to dinner the previous night but had missed church the following morning, raising concerns among her family members.

In a recent Instagram video, Savannah, along with her siblings Annie and Camron, agreed to pay the ransom demands to bring their mother home. Despite the lack of communication with the kidnappers, the Guthrie family remains hopeful for Nancy’s safe return and continues to appeal to the public for any information that may aid in the investigation.
