‘Epstein of the West’ socialite allegedly pimped out girlfriend to Silicon Valley elite
A San Francisco socialite named Michael Gerold is currently embroiled in a scandal involving accusations of pimping out his girlfriend, Emilia London, to Silicon Valley executives in order to raise cash. The sordid sexual scheme has shocked many in the elite tech circles where Gerold once ran.
Emilia London first met Michael Gerold when she was 26 years old and he was 53. She quickly fell in love with the older man, who was known for frequenting exclusive San Francisco clubs and claiming to have made his fortune in real estate. Gerold wooed London with fancy dinners, private club invites, and even arranged group sex encounters for the couple.
However, things took a dark turn when London moved into Gerold’s high-rise apartment and he revealed that he was broke due to a messy divorce. Claiming to need money, Gerold set up a profile for London on a “sugar dating” website and began selling her for sex. He allegedly scheduled “personal training” sessions for her, during which she would sleep with bankers, venture capitalists, and even a tech CEO. It is estimated that London engaged in sex for money around 60 times over a year and a half, with Gerold profiting over $100,000 from the arrangement.
London has bravely shared her story in family court while pursuing a domestic violence restraining order against Gerold. Following her revelations, more women have come forward with accusations against Gerold, with a police report last year including 10 alleged victims of rape or drugging. In 1999, Gerold was charged in military court with the rape and indecent assault of a West Point graduate, though the charges were ultimately dismissed.
Aside from these allegations, Gerold’s ex-fiancée claimed he once asked her to work as a stripper, while his first wife accused him of not working and spending her money. His second wife, Lisa, accused him of coercing her into liquidating her retirement account without repayment. Gerold also allegedly falsely claimed military honors and used his status as a war hero to solicit donations from a veterans nonprofit organization.
Despite the mounting accusations against him, Gerold has denied many of the claims, calling London a “pathological liar” and attributing any money she gave him to rent and shared expenses. He denies raping the West Point grad, drugging women, or asking his ex to work as a stripper. Gerold also dismissed the allegations from multiple women as false.
The scandal surrounding Michael Gerold has drawn comparisons to infamous figures like Jeffrey Epstein, with many in the San Francisco community calling for accountability and justice for the victims. Gerold’s attempts to conceal his past by paying for online reputation management services have only added fuel to the fire, as the truth behind his alleged wrongdoings continues to unravel.
