This led to Disney briefly suspending Kimmel’s show for a week, although the FCC was not directly involved in the decision.

Last year, the WHCA had also broken tradition by canceling comedian Amber Ruffin as a performer for the dinner in an effort to move away from “the politics of division.” The upcoming event promises to be an interesting and entertaining evening with Trump’s attendance and the unique choice of entertainment.
