President Donald Trump made a groundbreaking announcement today regarding the construction of the first oil refinery in the United States in 50 years. This project is made possible through investments from Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s company, Reliance Industries.

“This is a historic $300 billion dollar deal — the biggest in U.S. history,” Trump shared on Truth Social.

He expressed gratitude towards Reliance Industries for their significant investment, highlighting their existing world’s largest oil refinery in Jamnagar, India.

The new refinery, situated in Texas at the port of Brownsville, is set to enhance national security, increase American energy production, generate billions of dollars in economic impact, and will be known as the cleanest refinery globally.

This refinery is specifically designed to process 100% American shale oil and is being developed by America First Refining.
