Tommy Lee Jones Joins Cast of “The Lowdown” Season 2

Tommy Lee Jones has officially signed on to star in the highly anticipated second season of “The Lowdown”. The Western-noir series, created by Sterlin Harjo of “Reservation Dogs” fame, will also feature Ethan Hawke and newcomer Betty Gilpin. Production is set to begin this spring in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The show revolves around Lee Raybon, a citizen journalist and self-proclaimed “truthstorian” whose investigation into the powerful Washberg family leads him down a dangerous path. After the mysterious death of Dale Washberg following the publication of Lee’s exposé, he embarks on a quest for the truth, uncovering a web of deception and intrigue.

The first season of “The Lowdown” starred Keith David and boasted an impressive lineup of guest stars including Kyle MacLachlan, Jeanne Tripplehorn, and Peter Dinklage. The series is executive produced by Harjo, Hawke, and a talented team of industry veterans, with episodes currently available for streaming on Hulu.

Tommy Lee Jones, an Oscar-winning actor known for his roles in “The Fugitive” and “No Country for Old Men”, brings his seasoned talent to the cast of “The Lowdown”.
