Fox News Split Screen Makes An Absolute Mockery Of Mike Waltz’s Trump Praise

The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Michael Waltz, made headlines on Wednesday when he praised Donald Trump as the “peace President” on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show, even as footage of U.S. attacks on Iran was shown on a split screen.

Hannity characterized the strikes as “an opportunity for the world to nip something in the bud to prevent a future disaster which in my mind would be incalculable.”

“That’s absolutely right,” Waltz concurred, who stepped down from his previous role as national security adviser in May 2025 after the Signal-gate scandal.

“President Trump is a peace president,” Waltz asserted, highlighting Trump’s attempts at diplomacy with Iran while emphasizing the need to act before Iran developed fully functional ICBMs with nuclear capabilities.

Social media critics pointed out the stark contrast between Waltz’s statements and the footage being shown. Some compared the moment to a scene from George Orwell’s novel “1984.”
