Woman files for restraining order against Puka Nacua

A woman has filed for a restraining order against Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua after he allegedly made derogatory remarks and bit her during a night out on New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles.

Madison Atiabi submitted the request for a restraining order in LA, claiming that Nacua had terrorized her on December 31, 2025, and later threatened to tarnish her reputation in the media.

Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, denied the allegation that Nacua made antisemitic remarks but acknowledged that the receiver had bitten Atiabi while they were joking around with a group of friends.

The request for the restraining order was temporarily denied by a judge, who stated that more information was needed before issuing any orders. A hearing on the matter has been scheduled for April 14.

Atiabi recounted her first encounter with Nacua at a New Year’s Eve dinner in Century City, which was hosted by Nacua and other members of the Rams. She mentioned that Nacua was making inappropriate remarks and behaved inappropriately towards her and her girlfriend during the evening.

According to Atiabi, Nacua sat between her and her girlfriend in a van without consent and proceeded to act erratically and intrusively. He allegedly bit Atiabi’s girlfriend’s thumb and then attacked Atiabi, leaving visible bite marks on her shoulder.

Atiabi reported the incident to the Los Angeles Police Department on January 2 after she collapsed unconscious in the van following the altercation with Nacua.

During a mediation conference on March 11, McCathern allegedly threatened to contact TMZ and other media outlets to spread false and exaggerated statements about the events of December 31, 2025. Atiabi requested the court to order Nacua to stay away from her and refrain from making false statements about her in the media.

The incident involving Atiabi occurred shortly after Nacua apologized for using an antisemitic dance during an internet livestream. Nacua had a successful season with the Rams, starting in 15 games and recording impressive stats.

The situation between Atiabi and Nacua remains unresolved as the legal proceedings continue.
