Australian Police investigating after 12-year-old allegedly assaulted by teen girls in shocking video

A horrifying incident unfolded at a bus interchange in western Sydney, where a 12-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted by a group of teenage girls. The disturbing incident was captured on video, showing the victim being punched to the ground and kicked in the head by several older girls who were wearing school uniforms. The attackers can be heard shouting, “Bash this slut” as they carried out the assault.

According to the girl’s aunt, who wished to remain anonymous, the attack occurred suddenly as they were returning home from shopping at a nearby mall. The victim, who had recently moved to Mount Druitt from Bourke, did not know her assailants. The aunt speculated that the attack may have been triggered by an altercation that took place at the shopping center earlier.

The victim’s aunt mentioned that her niece reported the incident to the police and charges were pressed. However, authorities are waiting to review CCTV footage from the shopping center to gather more evidence. Later that same evening, a second brawl erupted between the two groups in a suburban street in Lethbridge Park, where the aunt and her sister were also assaulted.

The aunt reported the second incident to the police, who confirmed that they are investigating both assaults. They stated that the incidents involved groups of females in various locations within the Mount Druitt area, and they are working to determine if they are connected. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers.

The 12-year-old victim was treated at Mt Druitt Hospital for her injuries. The shocking violence captured in the video has sparked outrage and concern in the community, underscoring the need to address and prevent such senseless acts of violence among young people.
