Maniac breaks senior citizen’s jaw after chasing him near Barclays Center: sources
A disturbing incident occurred near the Barclays Center when a maniac viciously attacked a 68-year-old man, leaving him with a broken jaw. The elderly man was walking near Flatbush and Atlantic avenues when a stranger instigated a verbal altercation that quickly escalated into violence on March 31 around 12:05 a.m.
Despite attempting to walk away, the assailant pursued the victim and struck him in the face, causing the man to fall to the ground. The victim sustained multiple fractures and lacerations and was rushed to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The perpetrator fled the scene and remains at large. In an effort to apprehend the suspect, police have released surveillance footage of the attacker.
