Husband of US woman Lynette Hooker who went missing from Bahamas boat falls overboard himself while in police custody

The disappearance of American boater Lynette Hooker has taken a new turn as her husband, Brian Hooker, found himself in a precarious situation after falling off a police boat in the Bahamas. The incident occurred shortly after his arrest in connection with his wife’s disappearance, leaving him with knee pain and abrasions, according to his lawyer Terrel Butler.

Brian, 59, was handcuffed and wearing a life vest when he fell overboard from the police boat. The rough waters made it difficult for him to stay afloat, but police managed to rescue him and bring him back on board. He was then taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Despite being the sole suspect in Lynette’s disappearance, Brian has not been charged with any crime yet. The 55-year-old Michigan mom went missing after falling off a boat in the Bahamas, sparking concerns from her daughter about the relationship between her parents. Allegations of past altercations, including instances of Brian’s temper and threats towards Lynette, have raised suspicions about his involvement in her disappearance.

According to Brian’s account, the couple was riding in their dinghy when Lynette fell overboard and was swept away by strong currents. With the motor’s key in her possession, the engine lost power, forcing Brian to paddle back to shore alone. He reported Lynette missing upon his return, leading to a search and recovery operation by authorities.

Despite the mounting evidence against him, Brian maintains his innocence and expressed devastation over his wife’s disappearance in a statement on his Facebook page. As the investigation continues, the truth behind Lynette Hooker’s vanishing remains shrouded in mystery, with her family and law enforcement officials determined to uncover the answers.
