NYC grandma, 75, brutally pummeled over dog poop clean-up request – until Navy vet neighbor steps in: video

A shocking incident occurred in Brooklyn earlier this week when a 75-year-old grandmother, Linda Scott, was brutally attacked after asking two women to pick up their dogs’ poop. The disturbing video footage captured the elderly woman being repeatedly punched in the face and knocked onto her front lawn by one of the dog-walkers. The assault only ended when a Navy veteran neighbor, identified as Mr. Barnett, intervened and pulled the attacker off the senior.

Barnett, who had just returned from the gym, witnessed the altercation and quickly acted to protect Scott. He described the aggressor’s approach as threatening and knew he had to step in to prevent further harm. After separating the attacker from the victim, Barnett closed the gate to contain the situation as the two dogs ran around.

Scott admitted to using ammonia to deter dogs from using a vacant lot next to her home as a bathroom, but her son clarified that it was not intended as a weapon. The victim expressed shock and disbelief at the vicious assault, emphasizing that no one, especially an older person, should be subjected to such violence.

Barnett, hailed as a hero by many, downplayed his actions, attributing them to a sense of duty and compassion for his neighbor. He urged the attacker to take responsibility for her actions and turn herself in, emphasizing the importance of setting a positive example for future generations.
