JD Vance Gets Brutal Reaction From Stephen Colbert Audience
It appears that Vice President JD Vance doesn’t have many fans in the audience of Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show.”
A Politico report referenced by Colbert suggests that some are already “looking beyond Trump,” prompting the host to drift off into a daydream.
“Did he just say beyond Trump?” Colbert exclaimed incredulously. “I can envision it!”
In a whimsical moment, with a golden hue enveloping him, Colbert imagined a serene landscape in a post-Trump era.
“I can finally breathe,” he remarked as a meadow of blossoms materialized on the screen. “There, after Trump, a new dawn rises. And behold! Here comes the sun!”
However, within that sun – reminiscent of “Teletubbies” – appeared Vance.
“I’m JD Vance,” he declared as the “Late Show” audience voiced their disapproval with groans and boos, prompting Colbert to feign illness.
