Sean Hannity’s Attempted Takedown Of The Pope Backfires In Hellish Way

Sean Hannity of Fox News came to the defense of President Donald Trump in a recent feud with Pope Leo XIV, sparking controversy online. Hannity, known for his unwavering support of Trump, criticized the pontiff for his criticism of the president’s actions regarding Iran. On his radio show, Hannity offered to interview the pope, accusing him of displaying “selective moral outrage” and enjoying the public conflict with Trump.

Hannity expressed his desire to question the pope, citing his background in Latin, theology, and Catholicism. He stated, “Nobody gets to ask the pope a single thing. And I think it’s time and I would like to offer myself as the person to go interview the pope. I think I’m uniquely qualified.”

During his Fox News show, Hannity continued to criticize the pope, accusing him of prioritizing left-wing politics over the teachings of Jesus Christ. He disputed the pope’s statement on God’s view of conflict, citing biblical references to war. Hannity questioned why the pope was targeting Trump and the U.S., suggesting that Leo was biased against the president.
