Fugitive Malaysian financier Jho Low seeks Trump pardon: report

Malaysian businessman Jho Low, also known as Low Taek Jho, is currently a fugitive and has reportedly requested a pardon from President Trump, as per the Wall Street Journal.

Reuters has not been able to verify this report at the moment.

According to sources cited in the Journal, Low’s pardon request was recently submitted and, if granted, would dismiss the criminal charges against him in the United States.

The report mentioned that there is a pending request for a “Pardon after Completion of Sentence” under the name Taek Jho Low on a Justice Department website, filed earlier this year.
