Trump Marks Memorial Day With Early-Morning Online Rampage At ‘Dumocrats’
President Donald Trump started off Memorial Day by following a recent tradition of taking to social media to criticize his political adversaries.
He began his posts on Truth Social at 6:10 a.m. by slamming critics of a potential deal with Iran, labeling them as “losers.” Just eight minutes later, at 6:18 a.m., Trump wished everyone a “Happy Memorial Day,” including a shoutout to the “Dumocrats,” his latest nickname for Democrats whom he accused of disrespecting the military and its recent achievements.
Trump also took a moment to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, expressing his love for them. He further mentioned that his military actions in Iran resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. troops.
Continuing his social media spree, Trump posted again at 6:26 a.m., once more targeting the “Dumocrats.”
It is clear that President Trump used the Memorial Day holiday as an opportunity to engage with his supporters and critics alike on social media.
