Lady Grace Cavendish Returns for Second Season as Teen Spy
Exciting news for fans of the hit series “The Lady Grace Mysteries” as the show is set to return for a second season. The show, which follows the adventures of Elizabethan teen spy Lady Grace Cavendish, premiered on BBC children’s network CBBC and streaming platform iPlayer earlier this year.
Starring Evie Coles as the fearless Lady Grace, the first season saw her solving mysteries at the English court with the help of her friends and allies. The upcoming season, consisting of 13 episodes, will see Lady Grace facing new challenges as she embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue Sir Francis Drake and bring together Queen Elizabeth I and her rival, Mary Queen of Scots.
Joining the cast for Season 2 are Amaree Ali as Daniel Bunting, Imogen Mackie Walker as Mary Queen of Scots, Jack Forsyth-Noble as Sir Francis Drake, and Joy Tan as Lady Meadows. The writing team, led by Anna McCleery, will be joined by new writers Tasha Dhanraj, Scott Payne, Thabo Mhlatshwa, and Rebecca Ramsden.
Director Louise Ní Fhiannachta will return to helm the new season, promising more adventure, warmth, and humor for viewers of all ages. The series has been praised for its co-viewing experience, bringing families together to enjoy the thrilling escapades of Lady Grace and her companions.
