‘The Gentlemen’ Sets Season 2 Release Date at Netflix
Netflix has officially announced the premiere date for Season 2 of “The Gentlemen.” The action comedy series is set to debut on September 3rd on the streaming service, with a first-look teaser already released for fans to enjoy.
The upcoming season will continue to follow Eddie (played by Theo James) and Susie (played by Kaya Scodelario) as they navigate the criminal empire run by Bobby (played by Ray Winstone) overseas. As they work to expand their enterprise, they find themselves questioning Bobby’s increasingly questionable decisions. The official logline for Season 2 teases the dilemma they face: “Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well…”
In addition to the returning cast members, including Joely Richardson and Vinnie Jones, Season 2 will introduce new faces such as Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, Chris Eubank Jr, and Maya Jama.
“The Gentlemen” series was created by Guy Ritchie, based on his film of the same name. Ritchie and Matthew Read serve as writers and executive producers, with Ritchie also taking on the role of director. Eran Creevy is also a director for Season 2. The show is produced by Moonage Pictures, part of ITV Studios, and Miramax Television, with Will Gould, Frith Tiplady, Simon Crawford Collins, and Ivan Atkinson also serving as executive producers.
The first season of “The Gentlemen” was a success, spending 10 weeks on the Global Top 10 English language TV chart after its release in March 2024. Fans can expect more action, comedy, and thrilling twists in the upcoming season.
