Amazon Fire TV Stick Update – New Layout, Features And Mobile App
Amazon made a big splash at CES 2026 with the announcement of several exciting new products and updates. Among these announcements were the launch of the Amazon Ember Artline lifestyle TV, the upgraded Fire TV Stick HD, and the highly anticipated redesign of the Fire TV app. Now, the updated Fire TV app is gradually rolling out to users worldwide, starting with the US.
The new Fire TV app update brings a fresh look to the interface, with rounded corners, improved typography, and color gradients that enhance the overall user experience. But the changes go beyond just aesthetics – the underlying code has been rebuilt to improve performance, making searches faster and more efficient. Users can now pin up to 20 apps to the home screen, compared to the previous limit of six. The remote buttons have also been enhanced, with the Menu button providing quick access to games and personal photos, and the Home button allowing users to jump to sound and display settings or manage smart home devices.
In addition to the app update, Amazon is also introducing the Amazon Ember Artline TV, a new range of lifestyle TVs that blend seamlessly into any room decor. When the TV is turned off, it displays a selection of 2,000 artworks, from classic paintings to contemporary photographs and motion video pieces. Users can choose their own artwork or use the AI-powered Match the Room feature to select pieces that complement their surroundings. The Amazon Ember Artline is available in 55-inch and 65-inch models, with a choice of 10 frame colors.
One of the standout features of the updated Fire TV experience is the integration of Alexa+. This advanced voice assistant enhances the user experience by helping users discover content based on their preferences and mood. Alexa+ can add titles to watchlists, find specific scenes in films, browse photos and art, and even discuss game statistics. Early Access to Alexa+ on Fire TV is now available in the UK on compatible devices, including the new Fire TV Stick HD and Ember Artline.
Overall, the latest updates from Amazon promise to elevate the Fire TV experience for users, with improved performance, enhanced features, and seamless integration with Alexa+. As the rollout continues, users can look forward to a more visually appealing and user-friendly interface, along with exciting new capabilities that enhance their viewing experience.
