Blank Barbers Purchases Cherry Creek Real Estate for $1.5 Million
Blank Barbers has made a significant investment in its Cherry Creek location by purchasing the building at 313 Detroit St. in Denver for $1.5 million. According to public records, the local salon’s owner, Zackary Jarmon, decided to buy the property to secure the future of Blank’s inaugural store.
Speaking about the purchase, Jarmon mentioned, “It was my first business, it was my first shop, and I love this neighborhood. I want to stay here. I’m not a real estate guy, but this was a good opportunity that I couldn’t pass up.”
Since opening in October 2019, the Cherry Creek store has seen tremendous growth, now averaging 100 haircuts a day. Jarmon attributed part of this success to the increased demand for salon services post-COVID.
Blank Barbers has expanded to other locations in Platt Park, Wash Park, and LoHi, but Cherry Creek remains its flagship store. Jarmon emphasized the importance of building trust with clients and ensuring the smooth operation of all their shops.
The Cherry Creek building was previously owned by Aaron LaPedis, who purchased it in 2003 for $325,000. LaPedis, known for his Fascination St. Fine Art business, is now selling the adjacent building and relocating his art business to 545 S. Broadway.
With over 30 years of running Fascination St., LaPedis decided it was time for a change. He expressed gratitude for the success he has achieved and is looking forward to new opportunities.
