Bruins’ Jeremy Swayman becomes a pizzaiolo for girlfriend Alessandra and her Italian-heritage family on “build your own pizza” night

Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman is enjoying some downtime with his partner Alessandra Iacaboni during the offseason. This week, the couple teamed up with Alessandra’s brother Frank Iacaboni to host a fun Italian-heritage outdoor family pizza night.

Alessandra took to her Instagram to share a glimpse of their family gathering, showcasing a table filled with fresh pizzas, toppings, salad, drinks, and an outdoor oven in the background. The caption read, “Build your own 🍕 night!” Swayman was seen fully engaged in his role as a pizzaiolo, watching over the pizzas baking in the outdoor oven while Frank stood by the table. Alessandra captioned the next click with, “Locked in.”

The evening ended with Swayman and Frank relaxing by the firepit, roasting marshmallows for s’mores. Alessandra captioned this moment as “S’mores szn 🔥.”

Earlier in the week, Swayman met up with some of his Bruins teammates in Stockholm during his time in Sweden for the IIHF World Championship with Team USA. The group, including Andrew Peeke, Ryen Hendricks, Hampus Lindholm, and Amanda Corvenius, enjoyed a meal at an upscale restaurant, reuniting after some time apart. They were seen watching a hockey game together, showing their support for the sport even during their downtime.

After Team USA’s victory over Kazakhstan, Swayman and Iacoboni explored Aarhus, Denmark, taking in the sights and sounds of the city. Swayman’s impressive performance at the 2025 IIHF World Championship, where he went 7-0 with a 1.69 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage, culminated in a gold medal win for Team USA against Switzerland.
