Celebrity Deaths of 2026: Robert Carradine and More Stars We Lost This Year
2026 was a year of great loss for Hollywood as the industry mourned the deaths of some of its most legendary stars. The year began with the passing of Broadway performer and influencer Bret Hanna-Shuford at the age of 46. The week also saw the passing of Robert Duvall at 95, Cass Lacelle from Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise at 34, acclaimed songwriter Billy Steinberg at 75, and actor Eric Dane at 53. On February 21, NFL player Rondale Moore’s death at 25 was confirmed by Us Weekly, while former WNBA star Kara Braxton passed away at 43. The month ended with the news of Lizzie McGuire actor Robert Carradine’s death on February 23.
