Colorado ski brands give an overview for the 2025-26 ski season

Even with the Rocky Mountain snowfall being sparse, Colorado ski manufacturers are still preparing to launch their latest products.

Here’s an overview of what four local ski builders are currently working on:

Meier Skis

Founder Ted Eynon is currently more focused on finalizing his upcoming bar than on ski production at Meier Skis.

The Couloir bar, located within Meier Skis on South Broadway, has been in development for nearly three years. Eynon aims to create a mountain-like ambiance in the bar setting.

Despite this, Meier Skis continues to produce a variety of skis, offering customers a unique experience with semi-custom skis where they can choose from a selection of top-sheet graphics.

The best-selling model is the Quickdraw, priced at $695, with the Teton model gaining popularity at $760.

Folsom

Folsom Custom Skis in Denver has managed to adapt to the lack of snow due to its custom manufacturing approach. The company offers both preset Signature Series skis and custom builds, with a focus on customization and quality.

Despite potential tariff issues, Folsom continues to thrive with its commitment to producing skis entirely in the USA.

Wagner

Wagner, a Telluride-based custom ski maker, incorporates unique materials into its skis, such as Engelmann spruce from Aspen Mountain. The company offers a wide range of customization options for customers, with a base package starting at $2,100.

Wagner’s emphasis on guiding customers through the customization process has contributed to its consistent growth over the years.

Icelantic

Icelantic, based in Denver, is gearing up for the launch of two new models in the upcoming season. The brand has revamped its popular Nomad and Maiden skis, offering lighter and more versatile options for skiers.

With a focus on boosting direct-to-consumer sales and adapting to industry challenges, Icelantic continues to innovate and cater to its customer base.
