The storyline of “Dan Da Dan” revolves around Momo, a high school girl hailing from a family of spiritual mediums, and her classmate Okarun, who is an avid believer in the occult. Their paths intersect when Momo comes to Okarun’s rescue from bullies, sparking a debate between the two about ghosts and aliens. To settle their differences, Momo explores an abandoned hospital UFO hotspot, while Okarun ventures into a haunted tunnel. What unfolds is a series of encounters with unexpected creatures, leading Momo to discover hidden spiritual powers and Okarun to gain curse abilities. As they navigate through paranormal battles, a potential romance blossoms between them.
Co-produced by Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS), a prominent broadcaster based in Osaka with a rich history of anime production, “Dan Da Dan” is in good hands.
