Deputies ‘Waited in Line’ to Arrest South Carolina Boutique Owner
A woman identified as Pamela Brooke Schronce, the owner of Thomas & Turner boutique in Belton, South Carolina, has been arrested multiple times for allegedly scamming customers who purchased products from her store. According to reports, Schronce has been arrested 11 times since the beginning of 2026.
Her most recent arrest occurred on February 23, when she was booked at the Cherokee County Detention Center on a charge of obtaining property under false pretenses valued at under $2,000. This arrest came after a victim reported on December 10, 2025, that they had purchased $360 worth of products from Schronce’s boutique’s website but never received the items.
Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Mueller confirmed the report, stating that the victim, like others, had tried repeatedly to contact Schronce but was eventually blocked and received no response. Investigators were able to secure an arrest warrant on February 17, leading to Schronce’s booking at the detention center.
Schronce’s legal representation details were not immediately available, and it is unclear whether she has entered a plea. The Thomas & Turner boutique has not responded to requests for comment as of February 25. Schronce’s business, described as a boutique for trendy babies offering custom-designed pieces, is currently not accepting orders.
In Cherokee County, Schronce is due back in court for a bench trial scheduled for March 4. She has been arrested in eight South Carolina counties since January 1, with accusations of failing to deliver items ordered by customers and not providing refunds.
One of Schronce’s previous arrests occurred in Abbeville County, where nine customers reported being scammed by her. Customers who had purchased items from Schronce’s boutique between July 2024 and December 2025 shared their experiences with investigators, detailing their failed attempts to receive products or refunds. Hannah Mason, one of the customers allegedly scammed by Schronce in Anderson County, expressed relief that justice may be served for those wronged by the boutique owner.
The ongoing legal proceedings and customer complaints highlight the challenges faced by individuals who have fallen victim to fraudulent practices. The case serves as a reminder of the importance of conducting thorough research before making online purchases and being vigilant about potential scams. The global pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus has had a profound impact on every aspect of our lives. From the way we work and socialize to the way we shop and travel, the virus has forced us to adapt to a new way of living. One of the most significant changes has been the way we approach our health and wellness.
As the virus continues to spread, people around the world are becoming more conscious of their health and are taking steps to protect themselves and their loved ones. This has led to a surge in interest in wellness practices such as meditation, yoga, and healthy eating.
Meditation, in particular, has seen a significant increase in popularity during the pandemic. With people feeling more stressed and anxious than ever before, many are turning to meditation as a way to calm their minds and find inner peace. Meditation has been shown to reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and boost overall well-being, making it an attractive option for those looking to improve their mental health during these uncertain times.
Yoga is another wellness practice that has gained popularity during the pandemic. With gyms and fitness studios closed, many people have turned to online yoga classes as a way to stay active and maintain their physical health. Yoga has numerous benefits, including improved flexibility, strength, and balance, as well as reduced stress and anxiety. It is a gentle and accessible form of exercise that can be practiced by people of all ages and fitness levels, making it an ideal choice for those looking to stay healthy during the pandemic.
In addition to meditation and yoga, many people are also focusing on improving their diets in order to boost their immune systems and overall health. With the virus affecting those with underlying health conditions more severely, many are turning to healthy eating as a way to protect themselves. Eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins can help strengthen the immune system and improve overall health, making it an important aspect of wellness during the pandemic.
Overall, the global pandemic has forced us to rethink our approach to health and wellness. With stress levels at an all-time high and our physical health at risk, it is more important than ever to prioritize self-care and well-being. By incorporating practices such as meditation, yoga, and healthy eating into our daily routines, we can improve our mental and physical health and emerge from the pandemic stronger and more resilient than ever before.
